BIGBABBLEBLOG :-: STORY

Happy Buffday comes early!

It was good to meet Hesam, watching the game, and then drumming in the point that snakeyB will not make him go nuts but sleep like Maggie. We definitely talked of road-tripping Europe which I have to do again this summer, using the much cheaper option of my car popped into a ferry to Calais. I can see it now - wild. Heck we could even get to Norway (hint!) and perhaps cunnigly detour via Sweden's golden ladies! Hesam continued through midnight to have an adventure worthy of Beat maestro Neal Cassady. Since the best things are the mistakes, I reckon he played his cards really well but sacrificed a bit of sleep (which he buzzed on the plane if I gather). Other than that the online world says that Hanne needs some passtimes - please go and suggest one at Hanne Towers. Digressing further, I perused Gareth's recent Norway photos, thinking immediately (and hence notably) that Torrill is hot! Also looks like Laura is adept at picking tips at work, she should prolly be a debt collector or summat. Siobhan emailed lately to ask for amazing facts about the universe to be used for a hippy character in a screenplay she's writing, making Malcolm and I dig into one of the great discussions we're having as struggling artists. Malcolm came up with these:

In the time of a human breath, the earth carries humanity to a point in the universe twice as far from us than the horizon is now

The pull of gravity on a handful of sand lies halfway between that on the sun and that on the atom

which will prolly make a few wow's! I hope beefcake makes a stonking dinner after inviting the bogun round - quality standards me boy! Which might mean I choose to take them out to a restaurant if I don't cook poached salmon as well as last night. 'Twas good, and the white wine was free, nicked off an SU event. (I really don't care about uni anymore - sue me)

Shiny, happy events do happen. A couple of days ago, I met some coursemates in town then we headed up to make a campfire at the caves behind campus. Because I'm lazy, I quote an email sent to GaZ:
... and we boarded my car (me, Malcolm, JoeB+guitar, Patey) and went to the pitch black of campus. We hiked to the caves behind Eastwood, it was full moon. Spent half an hour collecting firewood using the light from our mobile phones, and we started up a calm fire, with Pateys firelighters. Sometimes we put in Joes lecture notes to signify something important and we had a wonderful, happy time, sat there until the small hours. It was really nice and we all talked and about many great things and mostly music. I felt fresh afterwards not having spent one penny sitting at a pub as usual, wasting away on alcohol and in the woods it was like we felt "young and alive" again.

Ben has purchased the outright coolest image gallery software on the planet.
